Brandy Deckard, O.D., F.A.A.O.

Dr. Deckard is a native of Bedford, IN. She attended Indiana University School of Optometry and graduated in 2007 as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society.  After graduation, Dr. Deckard completed her ocular disease residency at Indiana University and her fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry. She joined Dr. Howard & Associates in 2008 and acquired the practice in 2014, at which time she changed the name to Precision Eye Group.  

Dr. Deckard enjoys seeing her patients year after year. In her time away from the office, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband Ryan and their son Will – whether it’s running to ball games or hanging out with friends – they always keep her on the go! Dr. Deckard looks forward to seeing you at our Bloomington locations. 

Derek Bailey, O.D.

Dr. Derek Bailey was born and raised in Bloomington. He continued his education at Wabash College, where he also played basketball and baseball. He completed his Doctorate of Optometry at Indiana University School of Optometry and joined Precision Eye Group in 2016.  Dr. Bailey has experience and special training working with patients with many different eye conditions including Macular Degeneration, Diabetic retinopathy, Glaucoma, and dry eyes. 

Dr. Bailey and his wife, Erika, have two children, Lola and Korver. He serves on the Board of Directors for Youth for Christ – Southern Hills and is a Levite at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church. Dr. Bailey looks forward to seeing you at our Bloomington location.

Luke Streich, O.D.

Dr. Streich is a Lawrence County native. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University and a Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry. As an Optometrist, he has a special interest in managing ocular diseases, co-managing refractive and cataract surgeries, and fitting a multitude of contact lenses. 

Dr. Streich is the father of two children, Jack and Winley. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, running, hiking, swimming, and playing basketball. Dr. Streich looks forward to seeing you at our Bedford location.

Jenna Dale, O.D., F.A.A.O., F.C.O.V.D.

Dr. Jenna Dale grew up in Greenwood, Indiana and earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2012, graduating at the top of her class. She pursued a residency in Pediatrics and Vision Therapy at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Dale earned the distinction of Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) in 2013. She has extensive training in the management of binocular vision disorders, amblyopia and strabismus and received her board certification in vision development, vision therapy and vision rehabilitation (FCOVD) in 2015. 

She is passionate about pediatric eye care and is an InfantSEE provider, which provides no-cost comprehensive eye examinations to babies 6-12 months old. Dr. Dale has also dedicated her time to mission work in Tela, Honduras and Guanajuato, Mexico.

Locally, she is involved in the Women’s Auxiliary of the Bloomington Boys and Girls Club and volunteers with the 500 Festival Organization and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. In her free time, Dr. Dale enjoys traveling, cooking, reading and spending time with her husband, Macey, and their children, Addison and Parker. You can see Dr. Dale at our Bloomington office, Vue and select Saturdays in Bedford.

Chad Coats, O.D.

Dr. Chad Coats is a Bloomington native and graduate of Indiana University School of Optometry. After graduation, Dr. Coats practiced in Bowling Green, Kentucky for six years before moving to Connersville, Indiana where he spent the next seven years. During his time in Kentucky, Dr. Coats enjoyed working with the Western Kentucky University football and baseball teams. In Connersville, he enjoyed working in a small town. Clinically Dr. Coats enjoys managing cataracts, glaucoma, and fitting contact lenses. He is well versed in fitting soft and RGP lenses. He also fits scleral lenses for certain conditions including keratoconus.

Outside of the office, Dr. Coats enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashlee, and sons Nolan and Gannon, along with their dogs and cats. He enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, and the outdoors. Book your appointment with Dr. Coats in our Bedford location today.
